Ben is a seasoned Horticultural professional with a strong educational background, having earned a BS in Horticulture from Clemson University. He shares with his customers a broad, multi-state knowledge of the green industry, first hand experience as a grower, and outstanding plant knowledge. His strongest attributes include understanding plant requirements, ability to identify problems, and strong communication skills providing follow up with his customers.
Ben is an Eagle Scout, a Texas Certified Nursery Professional, member of the Texas Nurseryman and Landscape Association, member of the Perennial Plant Association, and past president of the North Texas Nurseryman & Growers Association. Ben and his wife Stacy are raising 2 girls. He enjoys woodworking, working in his yard, and playing soccer.

A degree in horticulture (focused on science and business) coupled with 25 years as a manager in nursery production in 3 states provides me an unique horticulture background, experience and knowledge. I identify with customer’s production issues and business opportunities. My first hand knowledge of annual plug production, shrub, tree and perennial production, propagation, purchasing, and nursery management is a valuable resource for my customers”.
