Walter graduated from UMass Amherst in 1975 with a BS in Plant Industry, focused on Plant Nutrition and Plant Breeding. The next 45 years were spent in wholesale production in Massachusetts and Long Island and as a field representative for Long Island, Connecticut, and Westchester County NY.
During this time Walter was fortunate to have exposure to a wide variety of both standard and unusual ornamental crops. By having firsthand knowledge of all phases of crop production and of the qualities that are desirable in today’s market, Walter will be an asset to customers as he assists them with their own production and sales planning.
Walter and his wife Patricia enjoy gardening, baking, walking, and spending time with their 7 children and 9 grandchildren.
